Day 29: black and white

So I know this isn't completely black and white...but I was bored so I played a little with the threshold and I didn't really like this shot completely Black and White so the water stayed blue. But I think it looks better with the blue so, there you go!

Day 28: Flowers

They call this a flower, I think it is just red leaves. However this is the only flower I have in my house and of the 3 times I have been to the store this week. I haven't brought my camera once..... and I don't really want to buy flowers cause well I don't really like them. HAHA

Day 27: from a distance

Well I have completely slacked over this holiday weekend and haven't got around to taking the kind of pictures I have wanted but I am learning my camera and figuring out the whole filter thing, so I guess we are making progress! I did get to do a photo shoot on Christmas Eve for my cousins we did a trash the dress shoot and this was from that!

Day 26: Close up

So I had this really great shot that I was so excited about then I lost it..... my whole memory card wiped!!!!!!! I have a whole day shoting with my family and it's gone! Can you say Pissed? I was so upset that I just had to walk away before I broke my computer!!!! So after awhile of whining I went to bed. It has been a few days and I reshot,  this is my favorite nativity set. When I moved out on my own I stole this from my Mom cause I just love it so much!

Day 25: something pink

My cute little niece India, her favorite sweater is this pink poka dot one! She is such a character. Everyday there is some really adorable picture of her and she is always doing some crazy pose I just can't get enough! If I ever have a child...... I want 2 just like her! :)

Day 24: Faceless self portrait

I have always been into photography, it must have come from my grandpa! This is his camera gear. He gave it to me when I took my first photography class. So this is my baby, the camera that made me love photography and film! I have been really lucky that it is still in great shape and still can take a great shot! Now if only film developing wasn't so pricey.

Day 23: Hands

I love my great Aunt Lily. These are her beautiful hands! I just love them and I am so lucky I have the chance to help her out and I get to take her to the store every once in a while! :) She Is the sweetest crazy Norweigian woman I know!

little Christmas Eve

December 23rd, known to some as little Christmas Eve. For us that means spending the day visiting the graves of those who have passed and can't be with us! This was my FIRST year to go since I have been on my own, every other year I have had to work. So this was a great experience for me and I loved every minute of it. I got to spend the day with family I don't see near often enough and I got to remember those I have't see for years!

I love and miss you Pappa, and I know I will see you again!  

Day 22: sunflare

While shooting masquerade photos I got this beautiful Sunflare and sun washed picture of my sister. She always looks stunning but i really like the light wash on this portrait

Day 21: animal

Today is suppose to be a faceless self portrait but haven't got around to it so I am switching stuff around and I am doing animal cause I took a picture of my baby Munch and well he is beautiful!!!!

Day 18: my Shoes

I have been so busy I haven't had a chance to post any pictures for this challenge or anything else I have done. Not that I haven't taken the pictures I just haven't posted :(  Well it is finally time to Catch up with this lovely Holiday break!
 These are my favorite shoes ever! I bought them cause I fell in love the moment I saw them!

Day 16 : long exposure

I think I am getting lazy in this but I do have a long exposure shot that I really like. It was taken at Lagoon in Farmington, Utah over the summer.

Day 15: silhouettes

I don't have much to say about this it is a silhouette. I was running late and didn't want to shoot so I was already 2 days behind. So this is what I came up with. It worked and wans't as hard as I thought to get the light right. But next time I will plan better!!  :) 

Day 14: eyes

I took a great shoot of my sisters eyes, although I wanted to do a picture of my grandmas eyes I didn't have a chance to see her this week/ but one day I will get the photo!

Day 13: me with 13 things

I love shoes and I figured that this would be perfect to show who I am!

Day 12: Sunset

There hasn't been a sunset around here for a couple of days because it has been stormy. So I had to just find one I had on file. This was taken in Alaska last August. It was such a great trip and this reminds me of how beautiful it is up there. I can't wait to be back!!!!

Day 11: Something Blue

I have a fun photo shoot with some friends of mine this last weekend. So I decided to post a picture of one of the masks, as it was a Masquerade shoot!

Day 10: childhood memories!

My favorite childhood memory would have to be the day I got my first teddy bear, which I still have 20 years later. He was the best bear a kid could ask for and I treasured him all growing up. So much in fact I can't even imangine ever getting rid of him! :) I know weird, but such is life :)

Day 9: Someone you love

My awesome husband is the perfect person for this! And he is so much fun! This picture was done on the fly and it was perfect! I love it!

Lunar Eclipse

Today is the lunar eclipse! It is the last one for 2 Years. I wont be able to view the totality of the eclipse but I am pulling an all-nighter so I can watch what I can watch!!! I am so exited to see it. I haven't been able to watch since I was a kid I have always been too busy. But this year I have no reason I can't! yeah!  Pictures to follow!

Day 8: a bad habit

I actually have nothing to say about this. This is my worst habit, bitting my nails. I try to stop but I can't!

Holiday family photos

I went down to Temple Square to take some Holiday family pictures with my in-laws. We were lucky that it wasn't too busy and we were able to get some shots with no one in the background!  Although I have been dabbling in phototography for a few years now I have tried to avoid night portriats, but I think these turned out great!

Day 7: fruit

Fruit not Fruits! :) Going to the grocery store during the busy time of day to take a picture of a pile of fruit.... more weird that you would think.

Day 3: Clouds

Clouds are my favorite thing to photograph! they always change and they are just well.... AMAZING! Today was an extremely busy day! I shot my first wedding today, so fun but I was not ready at all!!!!! So needless to say taking a picture of a cloud was the last thing on my mind. but I did manage to snap a picture or two of some clouds. Just not really what I was looking for! But I will keep snapping and keep posting! ;)  

Jessicas bridals

 I know I mentioned a few months ago taking some bridal Photos for a beautiful Girl named Jessica.....Well she got married. So I am now posting her bridal shots! She was so fun and so Beautiful that she didn't take a bad picture at all! I think they turned out great especially with this being my first bridal session.
