So I am going through some pictures today and ran across this. This is my bunny Wednesday, we adopted her about 3 years ago. She made friends really fast with our other bunny Munch (I will post him later). She was so cute, it took us just 5 weeks to house break her. But we did it! She was loved and Loved her gigantic Condo. She lived outside and managed just fine for 2 and 1/2 years, until sadly she got an ear infection. That winter was so weird it was super cold then warm then cold and she just couldn't handle it. We found out when she started walking like she was dizzy and took her to the ER..... The ER? For a rabbit? But we did what we could for her. But no matter what we did she was at the end. The doctor gave her some medication and it caused kidney failure. So although she did manage to over come the ear infection, that most rabbits don't get over she died.... from kidney failure. We miss her so much but at least she isn't in pain anymore.
This is Munch, our first baby! I had never touched a bunny but we didn't have time for a dog. So our compromise was a bunny. As we drove to my moms house we saw a sign for Lop Bunnies and we called, the guy told us to stop by, so we did. We walked in and saw the most adorable bunnies and they let me hold him. The little stinker kissed my face, what kind of bunny kisses? Well this one does all the time! Even after 5 years he is still the nicest bunny. Every time he runs away the people at the animal shelter want to keep him cause he is the coolest thing. He even walks like a dog and is leash trained. We trained him to walk on a leash hooked to a clothes line in our backyard . So nice!
This is his favorite hiding place while he is out on his leash! He will sit and dig for hours! And he is always so happy to just sit in the dirt! I know I want a dog but getting a bunny was a great stepping stone! Now I am ready for a dog though!
These are just some random pictures of how much they loved each other! Well enjoy! :)
